Inc. offers a range of ultrasonic flowmeters
covering a variety of applications including
full and partially-filled pipes and open
channels. The DCT series of instruments are
utilized on homogeneous liquid flows in full
pipes, while the DDF series is used for
liquid flow in full pipes containing
entrained gas or solids. These technologies
are based upon the transit time and Doppler
principles. Both technologies utilize a
clamp-on, non intrusive design. |
|
Typical
applications for the ultrasonic instruments
are:
- Ultrapure
liquids
- De-ionized
water
- Sewage
treatment
- Water and
wastewater management
- Acids,
corrosive, and toxic liquids
- Crude and
refined petroleum products
|
|
The non intrusive
nature of the instruments provides the following
benefits:
- Negligible
installation cost
- No process down
time
- Low maintenance
cost
- No restrictions
in the pipeline cross-sectional area
- Elimination of
potential leakage sources
