Description
Ideal for measurement of liquids with
electrical conductivity and
characterized by high accuracy (±1/4%)
over a user selected flow range, simple
installation, long service life and ease
of maintenance. The meter's accuracy is
unaffected by the liquid's physical
characteristics (density, temperature,
viscosity, pH, etc.)
- The
M2200 Sensor features:
- 1",
1-1/2", 2", 3",
4", 6" and 8" sizes
for flows from 5 gpm to 5300 gpm.
- Full
bi-directional flow measurement
capability.
- Standard
pressure compatible with ANSI 150
ratings.
- Designed
for either rated pressures up to 900
PSI (at ambient temperatures) or
liquid temperatures up to 356º F.
- Epoxy-coated
carbon steel or optional 304
stainless steel flanges.
- Stainless
steel, PTFE-lined flow tube.
(Standard 8" liner is hard
rubber.)
- Electrode
material choices including 316
stainless steel, hastelloy B and C,
platinum, tantalum and titanium.
- Epoxy,
double-coated coil housing for
excellent water resistance, even
when immersed.
- Remote
converter installation.

- Converter/Readout
The M2200 Sensor may be coupled with either
the MC106 or MC108 Converter in either a
compact or remote version to power sensor
coils and convert voltage into flow data. The
Model 108 Converter is a full-featured unit
incorporating multiple alarms, multiple output
signal choices, programmable
password-protected external keypad an on-unit
LCD display. The lower cost Model 106
Converter is a single choice output unit
available either as panel-mount with display
and keypad or wall-mount with or without
display (programmed with a Model 100 hand-held
programmer).
- Installation
Requirements
When inserted in an insulating pipe, two
liquid grounding rings should be inserted
between the gasket surfaces and pipe flanges
both upstream and downstream.
- Calibration
and Measurement
The M2200 Sensor is a Group B1, ISO 11631
device. Every sensor is wet calibrated by
either a traceable device or primary standard.
The maximum accuracy error is given by the
following:
- ± 0.25% when
flows are in the user-set 10:1 range of 3
ft./sec. to 36 ft./sec.
- ± 0.50% outside
the 10:1 range, for flows between 1-1/2
ft./sec to 36 ft./sec.
- Typical
Applications
Raw water, waste water, low concentration
slurries, abrasive liquids, pulp & paper,
food & beverage or most other conductive
liquids.
